If the air conditioning system doesn't operate at all, check the fuse panel and the Wide Open Throttle (WOT) relay, located in the relay box in the engine compartment or the connector to the air conditioning compressor clutch. The relay box is located by the fender well on the driver's side of the engine compartment. - Haynes Repair Manual #36071, 1993-2005 Ford Ranger Pickups.
