From what I have learned Sensor B is just a code that is being transmitted to the computer. There are several different codes that the crankshaft sensor will send depending on what is going wrong with the car. There should only be one crankshaft sensor on the vehicle.
To reach the sensor, you need to jack the car up. With a 15mm or 17mm (forget which), you need to remove 2 starter bolts and move the starter out of the way. Behind and above the starter you will find the sensor. A 10mm bolt holds it. Fairly easy to do, took about an hour in the dark at 0F. Brrrrr
The engine won't start.
depending on the year, I have a 2002 intrigue, it is located just above the starter, it needs to be removed to remove the crankshaft sensor, 15mm for starter and 10mm for sensor 1 bolt , not to difficult.
The crankshaft sensor is in the front of the engine.Above the starter. You will have to drop the starter.2 15mm bolts.Look up and there it will be.
looks like a normal sensor, I have a 2002 intrigue, it is located just above the starter, you have to take out the starter in order to take it out.
where is the crank sensor located on a 2002 Oldsmobile intrigue 3.5
where is the camshaft position sensor located on a 1999 Oldsmobile intrigue
Right next to and somewhat behind the crankshaft pulley
Is this a 3.5L Intrigue V6 engine? If so, it should be behind the left exhaust manifold. You will need to remove the starter to gain access.
in front of the converter
where is the crankshaft sensor located on a 1988 cutlass supreme
On front cover of engine by crankshaft pulley.
changing the crankshaft sensor
It is located above the starter. you must remove the starter for access. Make sure you disconnect the battery first.
The Crankshaft sensor is located behind the Harmonic Balancer on the front-passenger side
crankshaft sensor b circuit
Someone believes you should, "Take Your coolant tank off and the sensor is located under it. It's fairlly simple to replace once you find it."; You will find a sensor there but not the crankshaft sensor. On a 99 Intrigue with a 3.5L, the crankshaft position sensor is in the engine block just above and behind the starter. get under the car, remove the starter and you should find what you are looking for.
For 3.5l, remove starter.
POSSIBLE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR.
Its either your cam shaft position sensor or the crank sensor.
Can you show me a diagram of the upstream oxygen sensor on a 3.5l liter Oldsmobile Intrigue engine?
The oxygen sensor on a 1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue 3.3 liter is in the exhaust manifold/pipes
1st o2 senor is between exhaust. 2nd o2 sensor is under shifter
it is right above the oill filter just to the left
The crank shaft positioning sensor is behind the starter. A real bear to get to.
just above the starter on the front of the motor. will have to take the starter off to get to it.
