this egr valve is a PCM (powertrain control module) controled pintle at the intake manifold. there is a thin tube running from the exhaust manifold around the firewall side of the engine to the EGR module?, this isn't a vacuum/sileniod controled EGR. It is a Linear control system, the pintle allows exhaust gas to flow based on the VSS(vehicle speed sensor) IAT(?) and coolant temperature sensor.Good luck

It is in the front of the engine, to the right of the thermostat housing.
It is on the throttle body housing.
Four cylinder, it is on top of the valve cover. Six cylinder, it is inside the distributor.
The egr valve is located at the back of the cylinder head next to the firewall. There is a round plastic solenoid beside it also. ? DD.

The 1999 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 5.7 liter V-8 air check valve can be found on the firewall in the engine compartment. The air check valve will be on the drivers side of the firewall.
The PCV valve for a 1999 Regal 3.8 is located on the top of the valve cover. The valve pulls out to replace it.
it is located to the right of the coils and plug wires on top of engine. facing it! it is a round cylinder shape. with wires to it on the top of it.

It is located on the driver's side on the firewall next to the Break vacuum pot or cylinder. This description fits the 1999 and 2000 models and i am not sure about other models.
