ok the egr valve it under the back cover covering your car ..efi w/e it is i just recently replaced mine. once you take the cover off there its a little round thing that looks like a UFO or a bell it one wire connecting into it it it directly in front of your firewalla nd right behind"little to the left" on the driver side behind the car..efi w/e but when u replace the egr valve make sure u brush out the old carbon on the intake there that's a must! don't not forget! if u got ne questions email me i will take pics and send them 2 you if need be email@to_hard_core@Yahoo.com thanks
nope has to be the 32 valve engine
The EGR valve, on a 2004 Ford F150 5.4 liter engine, is located on the top of the engine near the back. The valve is difficult to identify without prior mechanical knowledge.
Need more info. Which valve are you referring too?
there is no 6.2 engine
On a 1997 Ford Ranger , 4.0 EFI engine : The PCV valve is on the top of the drivers side engine valve cover , near the rear
a 2 valve engine , the 3 valve 5.4 L is used in 2004 and newer F-150 Ford trucks
about 5 qts
Look under the vehicle and count them.

The 1997 Ford F150 4.6 liter engine throttle position sensor is located on the top of the transmission. The sensor will be connected to the fuel injection rail.
With engine oil filter change ( 6 quarts / 5.7 liters of engine oil )
