well first things first no one besides trained professionals should even look at the hv battery. but the safety disconnect is located near the battery behind the rear seat back rest under a small metal panel i haven't seen it in a while since i trained on it. if you plan on flipping that switch take some precautions 1. have all the keys to the car in your pocket 2.take off all metal jewelry and clothing with metal 3.wear insulated gloves rated "00" 4. leave the key out of the ignition for 15min before taking anything apart. even with that the risk is considerable and i dont think you should do it but if your anything like me you would have done it even if no one gave you any info just be very careful not to touch any wires coded orange
