It is located near the intake manifold, it monitors manifold pressure. If it's the 3.1L engine, it's mounted to the rear of the intake manifold between the engine and the firewall of the vehicle. If you have a code setting for the map sensor, make sure the plastic lines that go to the sensor are not broken or disconnected first before buying any parts.

Have a 1991 buick regal custom 31L sometimes it will just up and die while driving but will start again doesn't do it all the time any clue why?
