The oil pressure sending unit is located up on the head near the pulley for the Power Steering pump. It is on the back side of the head. I had to replace mine. It is an easy job.
somewhere around 500 or so, i have a 1992 W41 Achieva only like 1500 of them were made.
It is in the right kick panel. You have to install a prom also/.
It is built in to the rear window along with the rear defroster.
In the intake underneath the throttle body.
To remove the console shift knob on the AT 1993 Olds Achieva, first pry the cover from the top of the shift knob. Then, access the single screw inside the cover of the shift knob and turn it counter-clockwise to release the knob.
Squeeze the locks on the sides of the plug.
I don't think so, because a 93 is an OBD I computer, the 98 is an OBD II

The same was happening with my 93 achieva s I changed the oil sending unit... with the stalling ie.. shutters then kills... then wont go back into gear till cools off ...changes the tranny oil and filter and it stopped for a while then when it started doing it again when it would shutter I would punch the gas and seen to correct what it was doing ,,,the achieva
