on a 1998 Pontiac gan am ,they do not have a pcv valve.
on the side of the valve cover on the drives side.

You can find the PCV valve beneath the MAP sensor located in the plenum at the right front of the engine.
The PCV is usually located in the valve cover(s). They just slip into a rubber grommet; no tools required.

They didn't make and Si in 1998. The PCV valve is on 1998 Civic SI's are located on the bottom of the intake manifold. It is acessed from the bottom of the car, you have to remove the oil filter to reach it.

1998 and newer 2.2L engine does not have a serviceable pcv valve.
The PCV valve is located on the side of the engine closest to the radiator. It is accessed between the two exhaust pipes closest to the drivers side.
It's located in the rear valve cover, just behind the throttle body.
