The PCV valve on a 1.8 engine New Beetle is located underneath near the left end of the intake manifold at the top of that rubber TEE connection.Take your time and remove the the required clamps, It's a plastic valve that fits inside the Tee. Wiggle it and pull it out.Make sure that the area is clear so that nothing falls in there, replacing the surrounding hoses and rubber TEE might not be a bad idea while you're in there.
PCV valve is located under the wiper blade assembly and cowling on top of the back valve cover. Raise the hood of the vehicle. Locate the PCV valve on the top center of the valve cover. Pull the hose off the top of the PCV valve. Pull the valve straight out of the valve cover. Insert the new PCV valve straight into the valve cover. It's located on top of the valve cover - note that it's not a rubber PCV valve like a lot of other cars, it's fully metal, and costs a little more. I got my new PCV valve in Advance Auto parts (My local Autozone had one that did not match what was on my car.

Unfortunately,, the Mazda engineers located the PCV valve on the 3.0L engines under the intake manifold--essentially right under the throttle body. You can't see it until you pull the upper intake manifold off. I would definitely change out the PCV valve if you are replacing the spark plugs since the manifold has to come off to get to the back 3 spark plugs. A big hint here,, the pcv valve has to be turned 90degrees to the left to get it out of the housing.. a 7/8" 12 point deep socket seems to work. Look at your new pcv valve and you will see what I mean. Once you finally feed in the new pcv valve,, it must be turned 90degrees to the right to get it onto place. A 12" set of needle nose pliers might help also to get the hose off the pcv valve. Gerald
Remove the vacuum hose from your 1995 Lincoln Town Car PCV valve. Remove the retaining screws from the valve. Reverse the process to install the new PCV valve.
