well hi. the best i know of the pcv valve for the Ford zx2 zetec 2.0 dohc engine, is that it is located at the front right part of the engine as you are looking at the engine. it's located half way down the right side next to the head. look for a small curved rubber hose with a radiator hose above it. you will need small hands or long fingers to be able to pull the pcv valve out of the seal from the side of the head. It doesn't have one. PCV functions are done by several vacuum hoses and a couple of plastic doohickies that I have never really known what to call them. Go to the Ford parts dept. Grab the oldest looking parts person there, and tell them that you need the plastic PCV pieces for an 89 Escort that look like little space ships, and some vacuum hoses to fit.

The PVC on a 2003 Ford Taurus 6cyl. Duratec engine. I made a tool out of a 3/4 inch PVC plastic pipe i got from Home Depot. I took the new PVC car part and matched it up with the end of the square plastic part by filing out the corners of the pipe and fitting it over the end of the sguare part of the PVC car part. I did this to be able to reach the old PVC so it could be turned 1/2 to the left to get the old PVC car part out.
