According to the Haynes repair manual, the PCV valve is in the valve cover with it being on the driver's side cover in the V6 engine block. Don't confuse it with the hose from the air cleaner located on the passenger side valve cover on the V6 engine. On the 4 cylinder engine, it's located in the oil separator on the top back left side of the engine block (left being the driver's side).
On the 2.5 L 4 Cylinder engine it is located below the intake manifold on the driver side of the engine (between the number one and number two spark plug). The hose to the PVC valve connects to the inside of the upper intake manifold and goes down to the valve through the bottom of the intake manifold. It connects to the top of the oil seperator which is just in front of the oil filter.

it is a little "L" shaped, normally black tubed valve, plugged into the top of the valve cover. it normally just pulls straight out. it is attached to a vaccum hose, that goes to the carb. or the fuel control system.
