Inside the transmission, on the valve body.
The TCC solenoid is attached to the Valve Body inside the transmission. You will need to drain your tranmission and remove the pan to access it.
Trouble code P1740 means: TCC Solenoid or Overdrive Solenoid Performance
The tcc solenoid is part of the od solenoid assembly.
It is inside the transmission, on the valve body. The plug is the one just behind the dipstick tube.
in side the transmission
it is in the transmission
On the side of the transmission
The tcc solenoid for the 31TH transmission in on the top if the valve body inside the transmission pan. The electrical plug in is behind where the dipstick tube goes into the transmission case.
This is a bit over simplified and definitely not for the faint of heart. Remove battery and battery well (watch out for battery temp sensor) Remove electrical connection to TCC Solenoid Raise Vehicle Remove transmission pan (catch fluid in a pan) Remove transmission filter Remove valve body Remove TCC Solenoid Reverse steps using new TCC Solenoid Good Luck
On the valve body, inside the trans.
The tcc solenoid, and both shift solenoids are located in the SIDE pan of the transmission. Towards the front of the car, the tcc solenoid is the lowest one, or closest to the ground.
