How to reset the computer 1999 pontiac grand prix gt 3800 series II v6?
A 3800 engine is 3800 no mater what is mounted in. But a 2007 Pontiac G6 does not have a 3800 it has a 3500 (3.5L) V6.
no... its a 3.8 liter V6 motor...
3.8 liter v6
6 cylinder motor it is the 3400 or 3800 series engine both are v6
it is very probabably a 3800 efi v6. also known as a 3.8 liter fuel injected v6. awesome engine
yes the 3800 v6 fit fit in a Chevy cavalier 95 and up
On the 2000 Firebird 3800 V6, the PCV valve is under the MAP sensor. It is on the top of the engine on the upper plenum.
3400 (code E) V6: 4.0 u.s. quarts (3.8 Liters); 3800 (code K) V6: 4.5 u.s. quarts (4.2 Liters).
The 3800 V6 has a timing chain.
don't think motor mounts will work - look for 92-99 3800
around 3800 lbs.
Head torque sequence for a 2002 3800
The 3.4 V6 was made by Chevrolet
my 2003 grand am gt with a 3.4 l v6 weighs 4050 lbs
Ineed the torque sequence and tightening specs for a 92 GM 3800 intake.
It should so long as both vehicles are each Supercharged 3800's or non-supercharged 3800's and make sure the Grand Prix has a 3.8L (3800 V6) and not a 3.1L V6 (3100)
V6 3.8L AKA 3800
V6 turbo is better
the GM 3.3L V6 (3300) is the smaller cousin of the 3.8L (3800). 160hp and 185 lb/ft of torque. This has a 1" shorter deck height than the 3.8L (3800) of the same year. It is a batch style Multi-Port fuel Injection, vs the sequential style Injection on the 3800 TPI engines. These came in 1989-1993 GM N-body and A-body Cars.
Forget that previous answer. The 3.1 v6 in your Oldsmobile is part of the Buick v6 engine family. It is very similar to the other engines in the group. Some of these engine are used for performance applications, such as the 3800 v6. Some people have managed to swap out engines such as the 3100 or 3300 for the 3800 v6. this engine can be easily swapped in onto the existing engine mounts. If you are going to swap out your transmission for the one in the one on the 3800, then the transmission mount may need some modification. This engine has aftermarket parts available from a couple aftermarket companies, such as ZZ performance. This seems to be the most logical swap.
What was the situation with DexCool and the Chevrolet 3800 series II engine and how do i get the replacement intake manifold from Auto-zone and what is the part #
