Where is the brake fluid dip stick?
My brake fluid reservoir is clear plastic with a thread on cap , there is no dipstick ,
there is a maximum fill mark on the white plastic reservoir

Pull the transmission dip stick out , and make sure oil is showing on it . You need to take it for a drive and get the tranny fluid warmed up and then with the engine running and tranny in park , check the fluid on the dip stick . If the fluid is showing on the right mark on the dip stick you are good .

i hope your talking about a 2.4 l dohv. automatic.make sure car is in park. put on parking brake. have someone crank car (needs to be at operating temperature) then remove transmission dip stick and look on stick to see where fluid level is. ( dip stick is located between brake booster and right driver side of engine.)
