it really depends if it is a Mk3 or mk4 body style because each had a different engine, mk3 was an ABA engine (with destributor) and the air intake came off the passenger side of the engine. The MK4 body style has a coil pack for firing and the air intake came off towards the drivers side of the body. However im assuming your refering to the 1999-2005 body style mk4's so to answere your question it is on the passenger side of the engine behind the camshaft sprocket right up on top. Timing belt must be removed and its got 3 bolts holding it on. not the nicest to change but shouldnt take more then an hour and a half or so. hope this helps
The camshaft sensor is located in the distributor. I believe you have to replace the hole distributor.
I'm sure its in the distributor.
Behind the cam gear
It's inside the distributor housing.
just curios as to where a knock sensor would b located on a 95 vw golf gti 2.0
The camshaft TDC mark is located on the camshaft side of the pulley wheel. When the mark is level with the front reinforcing strip on the camshaft cover the camshaft will be at TDC.
Located on the distributor.
at the back of the engine, below the throttle body, to replace, have to remove the intake manifold
speed sensor is behind starter motor
There isnt one.
where is the outside air temperature sensor located on a 2002 mk4 vw golf 1.4 Engine Code AXP? Cheers
In the thermostat housing
