Top passenger side of the bell housing. It is behind the passenger side cylinder head, and behind the transmission dipstick tube.(if an automatic) It is about 11 O'clock if looking from the front.
crank sensor is located at the top of the transmission bell housing,two hex bolts that hold the crank sensor in place.

Possibly, but you will run into computer, sensor, and wiring differences. It would be easier to get the proper engine.

Two wire sensor on the front passenger side of the intake manifold.
The cam sensor is the "pick up" plate in the distributor. That is the black plate under the rotor.
passenger side back of the motor just got done changing one on my 1994 dodge ram not to bad two Allen head bolts its just ackward hope that helps everyone
