It is on the lower right hand side of the bottom part of the timing cover, with a wire that leads up towards the alternator with a quick disconnect clip. You can use this wire to check the ohms on the sensor before you start the job of replacement.

you must remove both top and bottom timing belt covers to replace the sensor which means pulling the top torque motor mount and the crank shaft pulley, I recommend that I you are going to go this far on the 2.2 motor, I suggest that you replace the timing belt, oil pump seal and front main crank shaft seal while you are in there a new belt is around 40 bucks and the seal kit "TCS 45920" is about 15 bucks and to have a shop do it is about 450-500 bucks there are may YouTube videos you can watch on how to do it but make sure you get a book on the procedure to check your work, any shop will tell you they have to bill for 6 hours, I did the job in 3 and I have never done this job before. its not that hard if you do your homework
