You have to undo the two wiring harnesses in the middle of the passenger area, under the dash. The next thing you see is the bottom of the ECM. It has two rectangular plugs going into it on the bottom.

Behind driver seat in with battery , have to remove battery first to take it out. Check 20 amp fuse next to battery first it is for the ECM (computer).
Are you sure its code 84? If so, you may have a malfunctioning ECM (engine computer)

You will need to talk to a Corvette mechanic or look through a manual with exploded views to find out how to get it out withour distroying the trim. Behind driver seat in with battery , have to take battery out to get ECM out. First check 20 amp fuse next to battery it is for the ECM , protects it.
