Assuming this is a 4.3L engine the ect (engine coolant temp sensor) would be located next to the thermostat housing.
change your ECT sensor. It tells your vehicle if it is too hot to operate.
IAT= intake are temperature sensor ECT= engine coolant temp. sensor
Assuming this is the 4.3 engine, the ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) sensor is located on the driver side cylinder head between #3 and #5 spark plugs.

which one? low coolant or ECT?

NO it will not work. Everything is different. Cab mounts, body weith, ECt.
The 1995 engine is a throttle body enjection fuel system. And the 1999 is a vorteck engine with a total different fuel injection system. The computer system on your 1999 350 is not competible with the 1995 350. Both engines are a 350 CID. But thay are designed totaly different. Heads,Intake,Valve train,Ingnition system Ect....
