I looked hand over fist and could not find it. So I called a mechanic and he explained that some of the 1991 Ford Explorers do not have it. Mine does not.
the PCV valve is located on the valve cover of a 1991 Regal Custom. It is plugged in and can be easily changed.
The PVC valve for a 1991 Skylark should be located on the top of the valve cover. It is a plug in type, twist and pull to remove.

I'm not a mechanic / technician but from what I have read there are ( 3 ) different engine blocks for the Ford 4.0 liter Over Head Valve , V6 engine ( 1991 to 1994 Ford Explorer ) ( 1995 and 1996 Ford Explorer ) ( 1997 to 2000 Ford Explorer ) * so I would say the answer is ( no )
the fuel pump is located in the fuel tank
its in back valve cover at fire wall i removed the plenum from the intake manifold to get at it.
The idle air control valve is located next to the throttle body. It is connected to the air cleaner hose on the top of the engine.
The flasher for the 1991 Ford Explorer is located in the same box with the fuses, just underneath the dash on the left side in front of the drivers seat. Take your hand and check for the box
The transmissions from 1991 - 1994 are the same. So the 1991 transmission will not fit a 1996 explorer.
