It is located under the Throttle body, follow the tube from the air filter until it hits the throttle body, look under it for the electronic plug and 3 vacuum lines running into it. Good luck.
The egr valve is located at the back of the cylinder head next to the firewall. There is a round plastic solenoid beside it also. ? DD.

The egr valve is located on the top rear of the engine. It bolts on and is easily removed.
On my Toyota engine it's to the right of the intake manifold.
No but if there is still an EGR valve problem then its the EGR Valve switch located at the back of the motor. I replaced my EGR valve 2 times before I figured out it was the electrical switch, which had burnt up, for the egr valve. I havent had a problem with the EGR since then..
The egr valve is located on top of the engine. It is close to the firewall, mounted close to the center from side to side.
there isn't one
no it will not...
Contact your Toyota dealer for EGR servicing;it's easier! The EGR valve is on the lower back side of the approx. centre of the engine. You cannot see it from above. Placing your left hand between the firewall and the rear of the engine you can feel for the EGR valve. Follow the vacuum hoses down the back side of the engine until you feel the EGR valve. Forget about sight from the top view. The Toyota service manuals give the Toyota mechanics proper dignosis. Other mechanics made have other sources, I got my info from a Toyota mechanic.
