From what I understand , it is located on the backside of the RAP module which is
located behind the access panel in the drivers side of the cargo area by the liftgate
where the tire jack is
It requires a mirror and flashlight to see ( I looked on my 1995 once and didn't see it )
I believe a Ford dealer can scan the vehicle and tell you the factory code
