THERE ARE TWO FLASHER UNITS ON THIS VEHICLE ONE IS LOCATED IN THE FUSE BOX WHICH IS LOCATED UNDER DASH NEAR FLOOR DRIVERS SIDE YOU WILL SEE SILVER OR GOLD ROUND METAL UNIT PULL IT STRAIGHT OUT IF THIS IN REFERENCE TO SIGNALS. OTHER FLASHER IS FURTHER OVER CLOSER TO THE MIDDLE OF THE DASH UNDERNEATH SAME COLOUR THIS IS FOR THE 4 WAY LIGHTS ON YOUR VEHICLE OR HAZARD LIGHTS.
There is no flasher unit on a 97. It is controled by an LCM or Lighting Control Module. Dealership part and is pretty pricey.

I have a 97 Park Avenue and the flasher is located on the top of the steering wheel, right in the middle. If you are looking for the flasher module it is in the under the hood in the fuse box
The should be under the dash on the drivers Side of the car. Look for 2 square silver swicches. Make sure you replace them with HEAVY DUTY switches.
