No valve that I know of. Take off gas cap. Remove fuel pump. Start motor and let it stall. Should be depressurized.
there should be a valve on the fuel rail on the engine that you release the pressure, it looks just like a tire valve.
Wheres the fuel pressure release valve on the 1999 Ford Explorer?
fuel pressure?? if it is fuel injected it should be on the end of the fuel rail.
On the fuel rail there is a cap and under it is a schrader valve. Depress the schrader valve.
there is a valve, kinda like tire air valve, with a green cap on it to the drivers side of the intake near the throttle that you can open and depress to release in line fuel pressure !
Schrader valve on the fuel rail
Remove the gas cap. Look for a schrader valve on the fuel rail to release the pressure. If there is none then wrap the fuel filter connection and be prepared for a spray of fuel.
find the schrader valve on the fuel rail depress the stem and it should release the pressure from the fuel system
valve stem at back of intake press and it will release the pressure make sure to pull the relay to fuel pump
Relese the pressure by pushing the schrader valve under the hood on the right side of engine.
fuel pressure release valve ? Just disconnect wire harness from tank or remove fuse to fuel pump then start and run engine until it runs out of fuel in line then continue to try to start for 20 seconds then disconect battery and service pump or injectors as the fuel system is now empty of fuel and pressure.
there is always a pressure release valve to remove air for fuel, location is usually on the right top of the motor where the fuel lines come in from the tank. the valve looks like the valve from your tire. just use a nail or something similar to press the valve and air will release then fuel will flow. and don't forget it has a cap.Answerpressure is usually released by just opening gas cap.
