My husband just replaced my fuel pump yesterday...86 Ford bronco II with 2.9 ltr engine...it is located inside the fuel tank, cost about $60 at Napa Autoparts...note: my bronco has 4 wheel drive option. 6-25-06 Yes it is electric and is mounted externally on the fuel tank. Actually there are 2- one in the fuel tank with the gauge and pick up and another on the frame rail drivers side apx. front edge of drivers door.
