The fuel pump is located in the tank.It is part of a removable assembly of parts comprised of the fuel level sending unit, a filter screen and the pump. The tank must be dropped from the vehicle and access to the 'assembly' is gained from the top of the fuel tank........lots of laughs to be had here in the drive way....!!! They asked where is the fuel pump relay, not the fuel pump itself. The relay is under the hood, and on a 1997 model it is in the fuse/relay center near the battery. There is a sticker on the back of the cover to tell you what each relay is for (but you have to read it upside down). I think it is similar on a 1995 astro, but if it is not, look around. It is definitely under the hood. Remove any plastic cover and see if there are relays underneath. on a 1993 astro it's on passenger side near ac unti it's a rectangualer unit
Blown fuse.
The 1997 Chevy Astro fuel relay switch is located on the firewall in the engine compartment. The fuel relay switch will be in the center of the firewall.
The fuel pump relay allows the pump to be turned on and off. On a 1986 Chevy Astro van, the fuel pump relay is located under the hood and directly in front of the passenger seat, to the right of the A/C clutch control relay.
