That would be attached on top of the fuel pump/sending unit assembly.
No or low fuel pressure
fuel tank pressure sensor or fuel tank level sensor? fuel tank level sensor is attached to the fuel sending unit, fuel tank pressure sensor is on top of the fuel tank.
It is on the fuel pump sending unit that's inside of the gas tank.
The fuel tank pressure sensor is mounted in the top of the fuel tank. The sensor can be removed through an access panel above the fuel tank.
there is no fuel injection sensor, you have a fuel pressure regulator and injectors that are controled to fire by the computer.
Perhaps, but I would suspect the fuel pressure regulator. It could also be a bad oil sensor as on some models if there is not enough oil pressure the sensor will also act as a fuel cut off switch. Perhaps the oil pressure sensor is failing at a certain temperature range.
It is important for a car owner to know the location of all the car parts. The fuel tank pressure sensor for a 1998 GMC Sonoma is located in the fuel pump assembly.?æ
You need to check the fuel filter and the fuel pressure regulator.
on top of the fuel tank
there is a fuel pressure regulator at the end of the fuel rail.It works with a combination of vacuum applied to it and approx. 60lb of fuel pressure that is regulated to apprx. 38 lb. when operating right. The excess fuel /pressure is sent back to the fuel tank via return line.I am not seeing a fuel pressure "sensor" on this vehicle.
The fuel pump pressure sensor monitors the fuel pressure of the vehicle.
There is no fuel pressure sensor.
