AnswerWith the engine running, pull fuse #1, the fuel pump fuse. Let the engine run out of gas.
Either the fuel pump itself is defective, the fuse is blown, or the fuel pump relay is defective.
check the fuses and change the fuel pump relay first in the fuse box behind the front ash tray goggle Volvo relays to see it. and fuel cleaner in the fuel tank.
