Need to know what engine it has.
That is the knock sensor
Crank sensors are always located on the camshafts. The 1989 Pontiac Sunbird crank sensor is located on the head of the engine towards to end of the camshaft.
As you are looking at your truck from the front the knock sensor shoud be on the passenger side right under the manifolds
The 1989 Pontiac Firebird Formula map sensor is located behind the dashboard. The map sensor will be on the drivers side.
it is located on the side of the engine block.
to the rite and just below the coil
In the 1989 Grand Prix, the oxygen sensor is in the tail pipe. Look for a wire that is plugged into both the tail pipe and the undercarriage of the vehicle.
It is located on the side of the Engine block.
right above the oil filter
the knock sensor is located on the driver side of the engine right under the intake it is about 1 in. it is connected so you will have to unplug it and then just screw it off
check your mass air flow sensor. Im having the same problem right now with my 1991 Pontiac Grand Prix & i had a mechanic tell me it was my mass air flow sensor.
i dont know trying to find the answer my self
It is next to the oil filter.
Yes from 1989-2009 they were able to have HUD
You can find what your looking for at www.installdr.com
The knock sensor on a Chevy Celebrity 2.8 L engine from 1987 thru 1990 is located on the back side of the engine(next to the firewall) below the exhaust manifold. There are actually two sensors there, one is the knock sensor, the other is the crankshaft position sensor. The knock sensor is threaded into the block with a pipe thread, the crankshaft position sensor is held in with a 10 mm screw and is near the center of the block. They are both accessible with the engine in the car, but they are a bit of a pain to get to.l
The engine supplies vacuum where needed to operate certain functions. Unless it is a diesel, I never heard of a vacuum pump on a Pontiac Grand Prix.
pull it apart
under the air filter box
dude if you got a 4 cylinder its in the oil pan
You don't. Take this to a professional and have it converted to R134. Freon is very expensive.
You dont. You get the 50 bucks from the salvage yard and have it towed away
