If you slide under the front of the IX35 you will see a round plastic cap that is fitted to the plastic guard underneath the motor.
The cap has a plastic clip to hold it in place, so just push the clip in and the cap will come off.
You then have a plastic filter cover with a large plastic nut on the bottom and a small allen key bolt in the middle of it.
The filter is a replacement cartridge filter and costs $59 in Australia.
To replace the filter undo the small allen key bolt to let the oil out of the filter housing and the undo the housing. Remove the cartridge filter and replace with a new one.
Replace the O rings ( comes with the filter ) and torque to correct specs.
