I ran into this issue as well. My Hayne's tech manual says to follow the large tube from the condensor to the compressor and that its on top of the compressor but the picture shows the port on the left hand side while my 97 3.9L has the high pressure port on the right. The low pressure port (and the only one that the recharge connector will fit on) is actually just to the left of the radiator. Interesting to find some much contradiction when it comes to something as simple as location of the low and high pressure ports.
Its located on top of the compressor................
The Ford Tempo Air Conditioner service port is located in front of the hood latch. The low pressure service port is closest to the firewall.
I found the low pressure ac port on my 2001 sable by the passenger side firewall.
the low pressure port is right on top of the comperssor
The 2002 Chevy Cavalier low side service port can be found on the top of the air conditioner compressor. The low side service port will be labeled as the low pressure port.
The low pressure service port for the AC on a 1998 Olds Aurora is located on the side of the accumulator. It is at the back of the engine compartment, on the passenger side.
The low pressure service port which should be located on the receiver/dryer.
The low Pressure service port is located on top of the accumulator located pass side up by the firewall. Black screw-on cap. (blends in very well to everythign else. right-hand threads. Tight fit for some gauges.
The low pressure port comes out of the aluminum pipe close to the ac drier. The low and high pressure ports have different size fittings, so there is no chance of connecting to the wrong port.
It will be mounted to a pressure port on the service (foot) brake valve
Where is ac low pressure service port on a 1990 ford mustang
under the hood probably.if the A/C you are talking about, it would be the side not going to the condenser.
