on the engine, should be on the left side, check to see if a bypass hass been installed, then it coud any where, also there should be a diagram somewhere in the engine compartment that will show where the oil filter is.

The S-10 blazer, code w for this year the oil filter is hanging directly underneath the engine right by the oil pan. It shouldn't be too hard to find it.
