The engine oil sending unit on your Dodge 2.7 liter engine is located in the bottom of the engine. The oil sending unit can be accessed by removing the oil pan.
The 2004 Dodge 5.7 liter engine temperature sending unit is located on the front of the engine. The temperature sending unit is just above the thermostat housing.

The oil pressure sending unit, on a Chevrolet 4.3 liter V-6 engine, is located on the left side of the engine, just above the oil pan. The sensor is near the front of the engine.
It is just above the oil filter.

The oil sending unit on a 5.4 liter Ford is located along the side of the engine. It constantly monitors the flow rate and pressure of the oil.

I just had to change the Oil Pressure Sending Unit on my 2001 Dodge Durango (4.7L). The sending unit is located right next to your oil filter. To be more exact its in between the oil filter and the engine block and is easily viewable from looking underneath the vehicle without even jacking it up.
