where is the low pressure port for the a/c -- 93 ford ranger 4.0L -- super-cab
Yes , I was looking at the 2008 Ford Ranger Owner Guide and it shows there is a low tire pressure warning light
From Haynes Repair Manual for Ford Ranger Pickups 1993 - 2005: "All 2.5 engines, 3.0L and 4.0L 1993 through 1999 and 2.3L engines 1993 through 1997 utilize an IAT sensor. Models following these years do not have an IAT sensor". Hope this answers your question. Good luck. ANSWER www.motorcraft.com shows an air charge temperature sensor for the 4.0 L SOHC ( only ) , on the 2003 Ranger . I'm assuming it is in the big rubber air intake tube. P.S. I also noticed that there is a manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor listed for the 2.3 L engine in a 2003 Ford Ranger
It doesn't have a knock sensor on the 4.0 L OHV in a 1993 Ranger ( my 1995 Ford Explorer 4.0 L OHV engine doesn't have a knock sensor either )
on the intake manifold on the driverside.
can you use a transmission from a 1993 ford ranger in a 2000 ford ranger?
There are 2 heated exhaust gas oxygen sensors , 1 screwed into the outlet on each exhaust manifold on a 1993 Ford Ranger 4.0 L .
WWW.MOTORCRAFT.COM shows remanufactured AIR MASS SENSORS ( mass air flow sensors ) for the 3 available engines on your 1993 Ranger , there are no listings for a MAP sensor
The low pressure port on a 1993 Ford Ranger is located close to the firewall. It can be seen just under the air filter housing.
