The Oil pressure sending unit for a V6 Dodge, is located on the front of the engine. It is located just to the right of the filter as you are looking at the van & just above the starter and is not easy to work on with the Starter in place. See link for a picture that shows the location on a 94 which is the same as a 92.
The oil pressure switch should be above the oil filter on the back of the engine on a 2.2L.
NO.. It will not.
If the engine oil pressure drops below a specified amount the oil pressure fuel pressure switch will cut power to the fuel pump. Some engine models have two switches and some have one integrated switch. One located down by the oil filter and the other behind the distributor on the engine block.
No , if you lose oil pressure you should shut off the engine as soon as safely possible
If you are dealing with a 1.8 engine, it should be the same as my '94 - directly behind the alternator.
Top rear of engine, just to the drivers side of the distributor.
Depends on the year. 92-94 right above oil filter. 95-97 behind intake manifold on driver side.
