If the engine oil pressure drops below a specified amount the oil pressure fuel pressure switch will cut power to the fuel pump. Some engine models have two switches and some have one integrated switch. One located down by the oil filter and the other behind the distributor on the engine block.
In the engine, usually in an oil pressure port
The 1994 Ford F3 50 pickup truck 7.3 liter engine oil pressure sending unit can be found on the left-hand side of the engine. The oil pressure sending unit will be near the front of the engine.
With a 4.3L engine, the oil pressure sending unit is in the back of the engine just to the drivers side of the distributor.

if its a full size pickup, with a v8, the fuel pressure regulator is in the tank, its part of the sending unit
uhmmmmm there is no such thing a a k1500 with a 318 cubic inch engine.
