It is built into the oil pump/ Part of the oil pump.
may need an oil pump may need a motor
the oil pump is on the front of the motor just below the water pump
you have to pull the motor and when you get the motor pulled take the oil pan off and the oil pump is in there ity will have a tube with a screen on it good luck
no. And if it does, the pump is not the right pump.
Drivers side back of the motor, on the bottom. That is if you meant a 4.3L V6 GM motor. Ford made the 4.6L.
Probably a bad fuel pump. A common problem for GM.
The oil pump is on the front of the crankshaft under the timing chain cover.
Inside of the motor oil pan.
The oil pump is mounted to engine motor and is located to right front side (in this transverse mounted engine application). The replacement oil pump is Sealed Power #22443573.
Normally on all motors, the oil pump is located above the oil pan inside the motor. This being the case, the motor will have to be extracted from the engine compartment where it can be accessed.
Can the oil pump be replaced on 1994 Ford Ranger 4.0 without pulling motor?
