If you mean the oil pressure sensor, I believe that it's on the back of the motor behind the intake. If it goes bad, you won't know when or if you lose oil pressure, which WILL happen if the crimp goes bad on the remote oil lines. Then again, if you mean the oil pump, it is located inside the oil pan. If it goes bad, I suggest immediately TOWING the vehicle to a local garage. Tell them what happened and have them check over the engine from top to bottom. DO NOT TURN ON ENGINE!
The oil sending unit on a 2001 Chevy Blazer is just above the oil filter. It is actually located on the diagonal to the oil filter to the upper left.
It should be located on the front of the water pump.

I did a search on google and was surpised to find that the S10 Chevy Blazer has tons of problems. The most common seemd to be with the transfer case.
