I am trying to drain old antifreeze and replace with new and cannot figure out how to remove the radiator plug on my 2001 Chevy impala 3400V6 engine?
Look at the bottom or rear of radiator
i need a step by step instruction on how to remove or replace a radiator of a 2005 3.4L chevy impala
The bottom inside corner of the radiator.
radiator antifreeze coolant.
HELLO HAVE YOU LOOKED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE RADIATOR,ON THE LEFT OR RIGHT SIDE. GOOD LUCK
There may not be one, My 2000 Lumina has a plug on the lower drivers side of the radiator that can be replaced with a petcock. Rather than do this I removed the lower radiator hose to facilitate flushing the cooling system.
Drain rad at the petcock on rad or remove an end of the lower hose. Add 50/50 antifreeze/water to radiator. Leave cap off and run motor for 20 minutes to bleed air out and then top off the radiator. Install cap. Done. I hope this helps you. Mark
Should be on the lower right (passenger) side of the radiator...
any vehicle that is water cooled and has a radiator needs antifreeze.
I have know idea
Test or replace the sensor in the radiator side tank.
DEX-COOL (50/50 mixture)
They use Dex-cool from the factory.
There is a petcock on the lower drivers side of the radiator. Turn it counterclockwise and pull out at the smae time. If it is missing or broken then you have to use the lower radiator hose.
should be similar ...... http://www.justanswer.com/car/3trf2-radiator-drain-plug-2003-chevy-impala.html
The 2006 Chevy Impala water pump can be found on the front of the engine. You can follow the top radiator hose directly to the water pump.
