If I remember raigt, there are a mark on det crank, that should point straight up(or was it down..), you als got a mark on the camshaft that you set agaist a mark on the syllinderheadcover- quit easy, if you dont have to start from scratch..- start to put the mark at the cam correct, and se where the crank point.. You also got two marks on the timingbelt, that should sit above the timingmarks.. Erik Norway
camshaft dephaser pulley
if you hear a rattle during starting then its a dephaser pulley which will require removal of the cam belt (expensive)
The crankshaft pulley is the lowest pulley on the engine. Looking at the engine from the front which is looking at it from the passenger side fender the crank pulley is on the bottom of the engine and has a pulley with a pulley behind it with teeth on it.
Loosen the timing belt adjustment pulley located on the side of the engine. When the pulley creates enough slack slide the new belt onto the cams. Make sure the cams are aligned correctly.
To remove a crank shaft pulley you need to first jack up the car. Next, remove the bold holding the crack shaft pulley in place and remove the unit. Reverse direction to put the new crank shaft pulley on your car.
