The 1994 Ford Ranger pickup truck map sensor is located behind the dashboard, on the passenger side of the passenger compartment. The map sensor is contained in a dust free box.
On the front of the intake manifold
According to www . motorcraft . com ( no spaces ) the IAT sensor is a thread in type for the engines in a 1994 Ford Ranger - so threaded into the upper area of the intake manifold somewhere
under the hood driver side
unplug the clip from the sensor. if your replacing it, you just unscrew the sensor

Coolant 'sensor' for EEC purposes is near front coil on heater core hose going to thermostat housing. It's a two wire connector.
According to my Chilton repair manual engine wiring schematics there is ( 1 ) on the 4 cylinder and ( 2 ) for the V6 engines in a 1994 Ford Ranger
on the intake manifold on the driverside.
