It is located under your throttle body and when i change it i remove the exhaust line to reach it. Loosen bottom bolt and remove top this will allow it to just pull off and lay downward without falling off makes easier when reinstalling. Follow your top radiator hose on driver side to thermostat housing.

I am changing the thermostat right now on my 2001 Chevy lumina and I see I will have to also remove the throttle body to get to the thermostat housing
