Answerinside the metal tube(firewallside of motor)that connects to the water pump and the radiator AnswerAssuming the motor is a 3.1l V-6 the t/stat is located on the driver's side underneath the throttle valve assy and behind the front-to-rear exhaust cross-over pipe. Just follow the upper radiator hose. It connects directly to the t/stat housing assy. It is retained by 2 13mm bolts that secure the th/stat housing to the block. Good Luck!,,,Mark / Raleigh, NC
