Some Sunfires have a dipstick and some don't. At some point, Pontiac stopped including them. My '96 has one, (near the firewall, below the brake fluid reservoir) but it seems that newer models do not. You would have to check that fluid by locating a filler plug in the transmission. Generally, you would pull that plug, stick your finger in the hole and see if you feel/find fluid or not. If you do, Good! If you don't, you need to add fluid a bit at a time until your "finger dipstick" feels fluid.
There is no dipstick for the transmission. It has a check valve on the side of the pan.
Unfortunately there isn't one.
The 2.4 liter four cylinder engine in a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am has a timing CHAIN
It doesn't have one but they can check the transmission fluid at any place that does oil changes
it is in the front of the vehicle below the oil filter, exhaust manifold and coils
The transmission filter will be located inside the transmission. Their is no need to replace it if you flush it. A flush will clean everything and rinse the filter
