I have a 99 GS300 and there is a lock on the left side, right above your knee that you can puch in. This will make it so the truck can not be opened, except with a key. You also need the main key to unlock the button, the valet key will not work in this lock. I hope this is helpful.
It is usaully in the glove box on most cars check in there, it should be a little round button
Lexus did not make the GX470 in 2010. The last year of production was 2009. So, no, there is not a valet key for the 2010 Lexus GX470.
There must be a way, it happened to me in the body shop they pushed the valet lock button and then called me for a the master key, which I never had. and they got it opened by Lexus dealer so they would know or one of there tech;s Seems it can be done,
valet keys do not allow access to glove box and trunk
It is when you do not want your guest to have access to the internet.
On the top in the center
Hold the reset button for 30 seconds.
It is the choice of the installer where to install it.
It doesn't exist.
For most vehicles the valet/overide button/switch is located somewhere hidden underneath the stearing wheel area. It is usually hard to spot, but it is there somewhere.
Press the button- then lock the glove compartment using your normal key, Now the trunk button down on left by the fuel door release button will not work - if you have the original "valet" key that came with the car, you can give it to a valet parking attendant and they cant get in the trunk or the glove compartment (of course you can't give them the key that you normally use which can open everything).
No such part exists on a Durango.
