To replace this you first have to disassemble alternator and remove the rectifier bridge and the diodes, once they are removed you can reinstall them by using a tooth pick to hold armature brushes back and reinatll parts. The easiest way is to just plain purchase and alternator for about $92.00 and this will save you alot of time and any possible chance of shorting out regulator and diodes.
