The location of a water pump on a 1995 Buick Skylark 4 cylinder is next to the engine. It is found directly under the alternator.
I had the same problem with my 90 buick century, Replacing the temperature sensor did the trick, it is located above and behind the water pump.

Look for the radiator hose that is coming off of the bottom of the radiator. Follow it back to the engine. The thing on the engine that the other end of the hose is attached to should be the water pump. JPS.
No, it's the same engine so it should fit.
You can bypass your 1988 Buick Skylark heater core by removing the heater core water supply hoses. There will be to water hoses. Connect the water hoses to each other.
I would say that you are losing coolant somewhere hoses,water pump,radiator.
The thermostat on 4 cylinder, 2.3L Buick Skylark is on the bottom of the water pump. Remove the metal water line connected to the bottom of the water pump to find it. Remember the new O-ring with the new thermostat.
Follow the top radiator hose down to the water outlet. The stat is in there. Let me know if this helps you. Mark
