Where is the windshield washer pump on a 1996 Dodge Caravan. How do I replace it?

The ignition switch is on the lower part of your steering column. Not very easy to get to but you can lower the steering column to get a better look at it. there should be 2 switches down there that have bars running to them. one is the headlight brights switch, you should be able to click the brights and see what switch you need to replace. there are 2 screws that hold the brights switch in place. you need to remove that switch first, then there are 2 more for the ignition switch. After that you just turn the switch on the bar to get it to remove. , its not a hard job to do just hard to get to. Good luck

You need to check for 12v at washer pump connection when washer turned on. If 12v present at harness connector but pump not working, replace pump. If pump is working, but no fluid coming out at wipers, you will need to remove front hose and blow out any debris clogging hose.

I have a '99 Dodge Caravan, and the WW pump is located at the bottom of the WW tank. I presume it is the same on a '96. But the problem I have is that I do not know how to remove the WW tank (it leaks badly). Any suggestions? 1999 Dodge Gr. Caravan WW pump is at the bottom of the WW tank accessed by removing right front wheel and wheel well plastic liner 1966 likely same.

it is located on the bottom of the washer fluid bottle. you change it by unplugging the electrical connecter, removing the washer hose from the pump, and the gently prying the pump out of the bottle.

the horn is behind the w/w reservior! Remove the windshield washer reservior, diconnect the wire and remove the horn
