No.
It is under the cowl below the windshield
take it off
Wiper motor in my 1989 Dodge Dynasty was not located in the engine bay . Rather, it was hidden under the grill that sits between the windshield and the hood. Access via remove the grill screws, remove grill and you can see it . I discovered this when the wipers stopped functioning due to wires disconnected in this location . I do not know how that could happen .
It is under the cowl at the base of the windshield. You will have to remove the wiper arms and the cowl cover to access.
The wiper linkage is bad. Or the wiper arm stud bushings (where the arms attach to the cowl) are rotted out.
my windshield motor is working great, but the spline that the wiper arm sits on is worn out. do i need to replace the the motor or can i purchase another spline. thank you Ron
The windshield wiper motor is located just below the windshield wiper blades and is covered by a black panel.
Disconnect battery.
remove the cowl & wiper arms (mark location of arms on the windshield). disconnect the battery, Disconnect wire connector at wiper motor & remove the 4 mounting bolts then remove the linkage from motor.
One could purchase a windshield wiper motor at a retailer such as AdvanceAutoParts. Alternatively, one could also purchase a windshield wiper motor online on Amazon or AutoZone.
