like a sensor it screws into the back of the block has a 1 wire connector located in the intake manifold .expensive over $130 for a good product
The knock sensor for the 1993 Chevy Cavalier is located in the back of the motor. It can also be located in the engine valve.
1993 Honda Civic EX's dont have knock sensors.

If the engine is 3.8L SFI OHV the Knock sensor is located under hood, passenger side, front engine area, below exhaust manifold, mounted in engine block

In a 1993 Toyota Celica the radio fuse is located in slot 12. The fuse is rated to handle 15 amps.
You have another problem other then the knock sensor if the engine will not start and run. A knock sensor will not cause the engine not to run.
It doesn't have a knock sensor on the 4.0 L OHV in a 1993 Ranger ( my 1995 Ford Explorer 4.0 L OHV engine doesn't have a knock sensor either )
